Beijing on Wednesday condemned new US semiconductor export controls as “bullying,” vowing countermeasures against restrictions limiting China’s access to high-tech chips and supply chains. The commerce ministry called the rules “typical unilateral bullying and protectionism,” warning they destabilise global semiconductor supply chains.
