Martin Kove is speaking out after nearly catching charges for biting a co-star.
Earlier this week, news surfaced that the 78-year-old Cobra Kai star, who reprised his role of John Kreese from the original Karate Kid film, was kicked out of a fan convention in Washington State after BITING his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim. According to a Puyallup Police Department report, he bit her “so hard he nearly drew blood.”
Ouch! And SO gross!
Alicia ended up not pressing charges, but wanted the incident documented “in case this continues.”
After reportedly “explod[ing]” on Alicia and her husband for confronting him, Martin tried to explain to cops that he was just trying to be “funny” as they “play fight all the time on the set of Cobra Kai.” But it sounds like he’s learned his lesson… Hopefully!

On Tuesday, Jaffe & Co. Crisis Management issued the following statement from the Rambo star:
“I deeply regret and apologize for my actions regarding the incident with Alicia, a genuinely kind and wonderful person who didn’t deserve to be put in this position. I’ve always respected her and considered her a highly professional and talented co-worker on ‘Cobra Kai.’”
He continued:
“I was being playful in the moment but went too far and there is absolutely no excuse for my behavior. I regret my actions for which I take full responsibility for what I did, and again I apologize to her and her husband. I’m committed to learning from this and it will never happen again.”
Yeesh! At least he’s owning up.
