Croatia has seen a surge in tourism recently thanks to its pristine waters, rocky coastline, and more than a thousand inlets and islands. Last year alone, more than 20 million people visited the Balkan nation, which stretches along the Adriatic Sea. However, experts are concerned by the impact on the environment and marine life, especially in places like Sakarun Beach where tourism has soared, and are calling for urgent action.
