Most fans did NOT see this week’s elimination on Dancing With The Stars coming!
During the semi-finales on Tuesday night, viewers saw the remaining six contestants perform routines to hit songs from Prince. And despite having the third-highest score of the evening with 58 points after performing a cha cha to 1999 and a Viennese waltz to Slow Love, Whitney Leavitt and her pro partner Mark Ballas get sent home from the competition! That means Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, Dylan Efron, Elaine Hendrix, and Jordan Chiles are going to the finale next week! Wow!

The results, of course, came as a shock! Whitney was one of the strongest dancers in the competition. Many expected her to end up in the finale, but that didn’t happen. And, unfortunately, she likely got eliminated due to the controversy she sparked on the new season of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Whitney admitted she only returned to the hit Hulu series for a chance to compete on DWTS. Her comments rubbed some fans the wrong way, and they began campaigning online to get her removed from the ballroom show. Well, it worked.
