Danielle Fishel‘s former Boy Meets World co-stars have a bone to pick with the judges on Dancing With The Stars!
Perezcious readers know the actress has been competing on this season of the ballroom dance competition, alongside her pro partner Pasha Pashkov. They’ve consistently remained around either the middle or the bottom of the pack since the beginning. The pair later improved their scores on Wicked Night, earning their first 9s of the season for their Argentine tango to No Good Deed. They finally hit their stride in the ballroom and were headed for the top, or so viewers thought. However, their scores took a dip when they performed a Viennese waltz to Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ Die With a Smile on Halloween Night. They got a 33 out of 40 from Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli. Oof.

That upset Rider Strong and Will Friedle, apparently! And they’re so sick of the judges at this point, accusing them of having a “personal vendetta” against Danielle! Whoa! Will blasted the trio, specifically Carrie Ann, on Saturday’s episode of the Pod Meets Twirl’d podcast — accusing her of criticizing their castmate more than the other contestants:
“Carrie Ann [Inaba] has her favorites, and she’ll have two or three that no matter what they do, they could walk on the stage, trip, hit their face, and she’d be like, ‘You tried so hard, 9!’”
Will is not saying anything new! These are common critiques DWTS fans have for Carrie Ann! For instance, the 57-year-old choreographer got called out for favoritism when she praised Whitney Leavitt and gave her a 9, even though the reality star was out of time with her partner, Mark Ballas. Then, she dished out 7s and 8s to others for minor mistakes — like Danielle. Will continued:
“Danielle does the best thing where she’s doing triple flips and she’s like, ‘You’ve got to hold your shoulders different too,’ and it’s like, ‘What the f**k?’”
Oof! Will is clearly frustrated, and so is Rider! The Cabin Fever alum agreed with his co-host’s thoughts on the judges, adding:
“I’m with you, man. I held back the anger. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. At this point, it’s starting to feel like a personal vendetta. Are you guys open to the potential that Danielle might be working her ass off?”
Unfortunately, all that hard work did not pay off. Danielle and Pasha were eliminated from the competition on Tuesday night after performing a contemporary during Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Night. Damn. What a heartbreaking ending to what was already a difficult week for the Girl Meets World alum. You can watch her routine (below):
We wonder what Will and Rider will have to say about her elimination, given their strong feelings about the judges…
