Teddi Mellencamp and Erika Jayne are Team Denise Richards all the way!
Perezcious readers know that it has been a hard week for the Wild Things actress as her husband, Aaron Phypers, filed for divorce on Monday after six years of marriage. The news came as a shock to us! And we heard Denise couldn’t believe it, either! While the former reality star is hurt, Teddi and Erika are glad she is rid of the man!
During Friday’s episode of their Diamonds in the Rough podcast, the pair discussed their former co-star’s bombshell breakup news. Teddi first brought up how Denise and Aaron vowed they would never get a divorce on their show, Denise Richards & Her Wild Things – though that promise obviously got broken:
“She said … that she would never believe in divorce. There’s no chance that divorce could ever happen. She’s no divorce, no divorce, never have one. And then … he f**king filed on July 4th.”

The co-hosts both shared that Aaron is not their “favorite person.” And they are really upset over how he is already handling the divorce, too! Teddi noted Aaron wants “a lot of” money from Denise. Remember, he is asking for spousal support from the television personality since he has no income. He even estimated how much money they spend each month on the filing, and it is insane! Aaron and Denise shelled out an average of $150,000 a month! And he wants to keep up with the lavish lifestyle he got used to while married to the OnlyFans creator!
However, Erika thinks it is greedy AF! She pointed out that Denis is “a working mom,” adding:
“Come on, man. Don’t do this.”
What really pissed them off, though? Aaron didn’t claim Eloise, whom he was in the process of legally adopting at one point. Erika called the move “interesting” because she “thought he had adopted Eloise,” to which Teddi threw out:
“They told us he did!”
They slammed Aaron for saying he and Denise “have no children together,” even though Eloise has lived with them since they got married in 2018. Teddi went off:
“What a d**kwad. It’s because he doesn’t ever wanna have to pay [Denise] anything.”
It wouldn’t surprise us if that were the case! The guy has no money rolling in! On top of that, he is allegedly in major debt, so he needs the cash! Erika once again stressed that Denise is a “hardworking girl,” and Aaron “should not be asking for spousal support.” She and Teddi then demanded he “leave [Denise] the f**k alone.” Wow. They really do not like Aaron. Teddi made that clear as day, ending the segment with:
“And you’re gross, douchelord. Sorry. Very few men do I despise as much as that guy. He’s easy to despise.”
Damn!
