Diddy’s former assistant has taken the stand.
The disgraced rapper’s sex trafficking trial is back in session after the long holiday weekend, his ex-assistant is opening up about some pretty chilling stories. On Tuesday, Capricorn Clark revealed that before getting hired by the Bad Boy Records founder in 2004, she worked for his sworn enemy Suge Knight at Death Row Records. According to her, when Diddy found out about her connection to the West Coast figure, he threatened to KILL her if “anything happened.” She testified:
“He told me that he didn’t know that I had anything to do with Suge Knight and that if anything happened, he would have to kill me.”
“Anything” like what?!
So scary…
During her testimony, Clark clarified she felt Diddy was “very serious” about the threat:
“I felt like there was some gravitas that he had some issues with Suge.”
“Some issues.” Uh, yeah. Suge’s star performer back in the ’90s was Tupac Shakur. Diddy has been accused in the past of playing a role in the beloved rapper’s 1996 murder. Just one year later, Diddy’s pal The Notorious B.I.G. was murdered. Many assumed Suge was behind it — that it was a retaliatory act for Tupac’s death. None of this was ever proven, of course. But the hate between the two rap moguls was no secret.

So yeah… plenty of reason for Capricorn to believe Diddy’s threat! Imagine trying to work while having the looming thought in the back of your mind that your boss may try and kill you… And that wasn’t the only time!
Clark claimed that in a separate instance, she was once “kidnapped” by Diddy’s staff and that his head of security Paul “Uncle Paulie” Offord took her to the Bad Boy offices for an interrogation. Why? Because some of the Sean John founder’s jewelry wound up missing, and he believed she might have been responsible. She testified she was “brought to the building to take a lie detector test to figure out what happened with the jewelry.” And before she got started, Diddy allegedly issued her a terrifying threat:
“He said if you fail this test, they’re going to throw you in the East River.”
Whoa… Absolutely TERRIFYING!
Clark claimed she was brought to the office for FIVE days in a row for testing, which mostly came out as “inconclusive.” However, she continued to comply as she wanted to “prove [her] innocence” and “didn’t like the threats.” She added:
“I just wanted to get through it.”
The former assistant was ultimately allowed to continue working for Diddy, and she testified she did so because she believed if she didn’t he would think she was guilty.
That is just so, so, SO scary. Clark continued to work directly as Diddy’s assistant until 2012 before moving on to other positions, such as Sean John’s Marketing Director and Cassie’s Creative Director.
