The London-based independent label shared the news today (Thursday September 25), writing: “Domino is thrilled to introduce the ‘Domino Vault’; a new archival imprint dedicated to unearthing and reissuing rare treasures from the Domino catalogue.

“The ‘Domino Vault’ will shine a spotlight on long out-of-print cult classics, offering limited-edition represses of some of the label’s most elusive and underappreciated gems.”

The post continued: “Each release will be a carefully curated, one-off pressing and a chance to rediscover forgotten favourites and celebrate the hidden corners of the catalogue.

“Whether you’re a crate-digger, completist, or curious listener, the ‘Domino Vault’ invites you to explore the past with fresh ears.” The label then directed fans to follow its dedicated ‘Vault’ page on Instagram.

NME previously featured Domino in its ‘greatest indie labels of all time’ list, writing: “Though its initial batch of releases comprised of licensing underground, American artists in the UK, a stream of new signings found Domino at the forefront of British indie – particularly when they provided an early home for Arctic Monkeys.”

Next year marks the 20th anniversary of AM’s classic debut album ‘Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not’ – which was released through Domino in January 2006.

Meanwhile, Arctic Monkeys recently sparked rumours of a new album incoming after they launched a new recording company and updated their website. Drummer Matt Helders has since returned with a new project called Terrific and dropped their debut single, ‘WeHo Yet?’.
