Donald Trump says would be ‘stupid’ to turn down Qatari jet offer

US President Donald Trump on May 12 dismissed ethics concerns over his plans to receive a new Air Force One plane as a gift from Qatar. “It’s a great gesture,” he said when asked if Qatar would expect anything in exchange. “I would never be one to turn down that kind of an offer. I mean, I could be a stupid person, say ‘no we don’t want a free, very expensive airplane.'” France 24’s Kethevane Gorjestani tells us more.
