In the Democratic Republic of Congo, President Felix Tshisekedi visited those left homeless by floods in the capital over the weekend. Heavy rains killed more than 30 people and caused widespread destruction. Kinshasa is prone to frequent and deadly flooding during the rainy season, which is particularly dangerous for low-income neighbourhoods.
