Russia’s firing of drones over Poland is “absolutely unacceptable”, the French foreign minister said Friday, adding that the Russian ambassador would be summoned over the incident in the latest stern rebuke from European and NATO allies. Wednesday’s multiple Russian drone strike on Polish soil rattled Europe’s leaders who saw it as a deliberate provocation, but the incident was also likely a test of NATO’s defences, says France 24’s SHirli Sitbon.
