A drone strike by Israel killed two people in Gaza on Friday, highlighting the fragile uncertainty of a ceasefire that has held for weeks. The Israeli military reported that the drone targeted a group of suspected militants in northern Gaza who were allegedly planting an explosive device near its troops, but did not provide information on the casualties.
