Dropkick Murphys have announced a series of shows in Boston to celebrate their 30th anniversary. Find all the details below.
The punk veterans will celebrate the milestone across 2026 St. Patrick’s Day weekend, with four shows in Boston.
They’ll take place as part of their upcoming ‘For The People…In The Pit’ tour, which will be fully announced soon, per a press release.
Saturday’s concert (taking place on March 14) will be family-friendly, with each adult ticket buyer able to bring two children under 13-years-old for free. There will also be a meet and greet, which will benefit the Claddagh Fund, the band’s charitable foundation.
Tickets go on sale on Friday (October 10) at 10am local time. Find yours here.

In other news, earlier this summer, the band dedicated a performance of ‘First Class Loser’ at the Vans Warped Tour to President Donald Trump.
While introducing their 2017 song ‘First Class Loser’, frontman Ken Casey dedicated the track to Trump: “This next song is dedicated to a guy who wears orange makeup, shits his pants in his diapers, rapes women, touches kids. It’s called ‘First Class Loser.’”
This isn’t the first time that Dropkick Murphys have taken shots at Trump or his supporters. Earlier this year, frontman Ken Casey confronted a Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat-wearing fan at a show in Boston.
“If you’re in a room full of people and you want to know who’s in a cult…They been holding up a fucking hat the whole night to represent a president,” he said from the stage. “This is America! There’s no kings here!” He continued: “Do you mind sir, we’re going to play a song about our grandparents and people who fought Nazis in the war…so if you could just shut the fuck up for five minutes.”
Casey later addressed the interaction on a podcast: “I’m really not looking to stop the show and turn it into a political rally. But you know I do have to call out the hypocrisy when I see it, especially if it’s being put in my face.”
