Ecuador’s President Daniel Noboa secured a decisive victory in Sunday’s election, as voters backed his tough stance on cartel violence. With 90% of votes counted, the National Election Council said Noboa led leftist rival Luisa González 56% to 44%. Gonzalez said she would call for a recount.
