Egypt says it appreciates Trump’s remarks on not displacing Palestinians from Gaza

Egypt’s foreign ministry said Thursday that Cairo appreciated US President Donald Trump’s comments that “nobody is expelling any Palestinians from Gaza”, marking what could be a potential retreat from his proposal to displace the Palestinians living in the coastal territory to make way for a “Middle East Riviera”.
