Elon Musk is taking another HUGE shot across the bow.
Of course, the Tesla mogul has been all over his former (?!) friend Donald Trump regarding the president’s purported appearance in the infamous Jeffrey Epstein files. Elon went after the POTUS last month by sending a since-deleted post on X (Twitter) accusing Trump of showing up in the unsettling files — implying he was part of the teen sex-trafficking ring! He said THAT was “the real reason they have not been made public.” Damn!
Elon notably backed off of that, seemingly choosing peace with Trump to save himself a hassle. He never recanted or anything. But when Trump’s next Epstein move was revealed, the X owner went ballistic!
The Trump-led FBI claimed that no, they actually have zero Epstein client info. None at all. Nope. No client list, not a single shred of evidence against anyone. Please change the subject and look the other way, thanks!
Elon called them out for changing their party line and covering it all up! Now, normally, we are VERY hesitant to agree with Musk about much. But his take on that jaw-dropping reveal from Monday was dead right. And now… is he right again????

On Tuesday, Elon returned to X to name-and-shame… Steve Bannon.
You remember that name, right? Bannon was Trump’s right-hand man during the first term, both as campaign director prior to the election and a close adviser afterwards. Bannon has legit MAGA credentials. But Elon claimed on Tuesday that Steve is also in the Epstein files!!
Replying to a post from another infamous former Trump adviser, Roger Stone, who pointed out how Bannon had coached Epstein on how to appear “sympathetic” on TV. Musk responded simply:
“Bannon is in the Epstein files.”

Big… if true. And also, it’s very much another shot from the SpaceX biz whiz into the sphere of his formerly close BFF in the White House after that now-deleted June post we referenced up top. Yeesh.
BTW, the Bannon-Epstein connection allegedly goes pretty deep, per that Stone tweet to which Elon replied. Basically, journalist Michael Wolff wrote a book back in 2021 called Too Famous: The Rich, the Powerful, the Wishful, the Notorious, the Damned. In it, he reported Bannon allegedly met with Epstein multiple times after Jeffrey was convicted of sex crimes, and also supposedly helped him prepare for a 60 Minutes interview — that never ended up happening — with some media training.
For his part, Bannon previously told the New York Times that he never media-trained Epstein, but was actually meeting with the late financier to expose his “perversions and depravity toward young women” for a documentary. Uh-huh. Everyone who ever met him all of a sudden was just quietly crusading to stop him.

Anyways, Elon has been on a roll throughout the day on Tuesday. He’s replying to all kinds of accounts over on X, with messages like this about Bannon’s alleged appearance in the Epstein files:

It’s a good question.
Just like we noted on Monday, we don’t usually agree with Elon on, well, anything. But on this terrible topic? There’s definitely a lot of common ground. Because no one at this point is buying the company line except the most truly sycophantic Trumpies. They’re not that hard to identify as they’ve all started to say the same thing: Hey, Epstein is a nothingburger, it’s old news, let it go already.
Well, not us. And not Elon.
