European allies call for more pressure on Russia ahead of Trump-Putin talks

European allies renewed calls overnight to pressure Russia as they rallied behind Ukraine in insisting that any deal to end the war include Kyiv ahead of peace talks in Alaska next Friday between US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
