The latest in the Decker girls murder case is really unsettling.
For those who’ve mercifully not heard of this one, three sisters — Paityn Decker, 9, Evelyn Decker, 8, and Olivia Decker, 5 — were on an afternoon visit with their dad, but he never brought them back. After a couple days investigators found their bodies at the Rock Island Campground near Leavenworth, Washington. They were near his abandoned truck. Their wrists had been zip-tied, and they were asphyxiated with bags over their heads. Horrifying.
We’ve been trying to wrap our heads around how anyone could do that to children, let alone his own daughters. What the hell is going on with Travis Decker??

The girls’ dad is still at large and considered dangerous. But beforehand, did he seem dangerous? Why would mom Whitney Decker have let her three daughters go with him if so? Speaking on Whitney’s behalf, her attorney told ABC News there were no red flags:
“Something came out of this man and he broke, that’s it… When that man picked up those girls, his babies, he did not have a plan to kill them; there’s nothing that indicates that he did.”
His final words to Whitney after a 20-minute conversation when he picked up the girls?
“He said, ‘Hey, I will see you at 8’ and he left, and he never came back.”
WTF…
Another witness doesn’t agree. Neighbor Binh Nguyen was there to see Travis pick up his kids — and even spoke to him. And he had a “sad look” in their brief interaction, he told DailyMail.com he spoke to him in Whitney’s backyard that afternoon and asked how he was doing:
“He said “fine” and then he asked me how I was doing. But what was strange was that he kept asking me the same question at different points in our conversation. Like he wasn’t remembering he already asked.”
Maybe That was usual lately for him though. Whitney told authorities he was struggling with mental health issues. She told Nguyen even more.
The neighbor said she’d told stories of her ex flying off the handle and assaulting her. And that was what led to their divorce. Huh.
“She said she can’t work it out, that he’s crazy and he beat me.”
You can see Travis Decker for yourself in Ring cam footage and pics just released by the Chelan County Sheriff’s Office — from just days before the horror.
Anyone who sees Travis has been asked to simply call 911 — and do not approach him.
