The Israeli miitary on Monday said five UN trucks carrying humanitarian aid were allowed into Gaza via the KeremShalom crossing after nearly three months of Israel’s blockade. UN humanitarian chief Tom Fletcher welcomed the move, but said it was a “drop in the ocean of what is urgently needed”.
