Russian forces have managed to push further into the key strategic city of Pokrovsk in eastern Ukraine, aided by weather conditions, especially dense fog that prevents detection by drones or US intelligence satellites. Ukraine’s military says there may now be 300–500 Russian troops in the city, and President Volodymyr Zelensky says the situation remains difficult. Oliver Farry tells us more.
