France’s ex-president Nicolas Sarkozy will go on trial on appeal over Libyan campaign-funding allegations starting March 16, a Paris court said Thursday. Sarkozy was in September found guilty by a lower court and improsoned for 20 days for illegally seeking presidential campaign funding from former Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi.
