France’s left-wing politicians on Saturday called on President Emmanuel Macron to intervene over US plans to destroy millions worth of female contraceptives, after a decision made by the US to destroy products from terminated USAID contracts. Contraceptives worth about $9.7 million stored in Belgium are reportedly set to be incinerated in France.
