French Prime Minister François Bayrou survived a no-confidence vote Tuesday, but his position remains fragile after just six months in office. The motion, brought by the Socialist Party following failed pension reform talks, highlighted Bayrou’s lack of a parliamentary majority and the loss of Socialist support he had previously depended on.
