Pro-Palestinian activists who set off from Tunis in an attempt to break Israel’s Gaza blockade retreated to the Misrata region of western Libya on Sunday, having been blocked by authorities in the east of the country since Friday. Organisers said the activists were subject to a “systematic siege” with no access to food, water or medicine.
