Gaza: Israel agrees to ceasefire plan, Hamas yet to respond

Israel has agreed to a US ceasefire proposal for Gaza, the White House said on Thursday, and Hamas said it was reviewing the plan although its terms did not meet the group’s demands. The US plan for Gaza proposes a 60-day ceasefire, exchanging 28 Israeli hostages for 125 Palestinian prisoners and the remains of 180 Palestinians. FRANCE 24’s Kethevane Gorjestani has the details.
