In a cluster of small coastal towns near Athens, wildfires have destroyed homes and forced both residents and tourists to evacuate. As temperatures continue to rise, such disasters are becoming increasingly frequent in Greece, placing growing pressure on emergency services and local authorities, who are struggling to keep pace with the scale and frequency of these climate-driven crises.
