We were glued to our screens Thursday morning waiting to hear what the ladies of The View would say about the shocking news that Jimmy Kimmel’s late-night show had been yanked from ABC’s schedule after his comments about now-deceased political pundit Charlie Kirk‘s shooter. And yet…
Like, it’s the same network, babes! You’d think they’d at least give it a passing mention, right??
WRONG.
Instead, the show opened with host Whoopi Goldberg offering a big birthday celebration call-out to fellow co-host Sara Haines. And then… crickets. Total crickets. Nary a mention about Jimmy Kimmel Live and the man who hosted it. NONE!
The entire episode came and went without a single word about Kimmel. Not a whisper. Not even a cheeky side-eye. NOTHING. Instead, we got the full birthday tribute to Sara, who turned 48 (HBD queen, but also… the timing?!), some discussion on FBI Director Kash Patel, a bit on Eugene Levy, an interview with Terry Bradshaw, and even a cute segment about cookies to wrap things up.
Like, we love a good cookie convo, but where’s the tea, ladies!?
ICYMI, the 57-year-old Kimmel was pulled from ABC’s late-night lineup after making comments about political influencer Charlie Kirk’s tragic death. The internet exploded on Wednesday night after Kimmel got cut, with everyone from politicians to comedians weighing in. And yet The View — the show that talks about literally everything — decided this topic just didn’t make the cut.
So what gives? Was it a network gag order? An editorial choice? Or did the ladies just not want to touch that topic with a ten-foot pole? Whatever the reason, viewers noticed. Social media is already calling out the daytime divas for the very noticeable silence on this topic.

Hmmm.
Stay tuned, fam. This story’s not over.
