Hilaria Baldwin has a message for critics in her comments.
On Monday, Alec Baldwin’s wife took to Instagram to share a sweet video with her kids Leo, 8, and Carmen, 11, showing off how fast they’re growing. In the video, Leo comes up to his momma and easily lifts her off her feet and holds her for several seconds. Carmen, who’s nearly as tall as the yoga instructor, then does the same. But when Hilaria tries to lift them back, she struggles. She captioned the video:
“Leo and Carmen can pick me up now! And I am struggling to pick them up. How does this happen so fast???”

Totally relatable mommy moment, right? When your kids get bigger than you? Wild that it’s happening for Hilaria with the 8-year-old, but hey. She’s small, what are ya gonna do?

Many followers thought it was an adorable moment. However, others opted to poke fun at her — keeping in mind the various ways she’s sought attention in the past. Like, you know, the fake Spanish heritage thing? So one critic sarcastically wrote in quotations:
“’look how light i am!’”
Yeah, we don’t think that’s what she was going for… But they aren’t wrong. The video does have the added bonus of showing off how tight the momma is keeping it. But The Baldwins star did NOT appreciate the commenter insinuating her parenting moment was just narcissism in disguise. So she clapped back:
“how about ‘look how strong my kids are’????”
But then someone else crossed a line, commenting negatively on Hilaria’s… how you say… physical appearance. This troll wrote, “Because you all bones … do you eat?” Oh, come on, y’all! The 41-year-old actually took that in stride, matter of factly responding:
“well yes I do
”

She’s not having it!
But in a more positive comment, she noted how she feels her kids may outgrow her soon thanks to their Baldwin side:
“They all got the tall genes. Me not so much.”
Well, hey, at least it’ll be a while before they’re all taller. In addition to Leo and Carmen, Hilaria also shares Rafael, 10, Romeo, 7, Eduardo, 4, María Lucía, 4, and Ilaria, 2, with Alec. We’re pretty sure she can pick up the 2-year-old still.
