Japan pulled one back in the third quarter, but captain Harmanpreet scored again at the end of the third quarter. The Asia Cup holds huge value as the winner of the tournament will book a direct spot in the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026. India are also gunning for their fourth title, and second on home soil.
