France 24 correspondent Jessica Le Masurier reports from Columbia University in New York, where hundreds of people on Tuesday rallied to protest the detainment of Mahmoud Khalil, a Palestinian student who helped coordinate the pro-Palestinian protests held at Columbia last year. Protesters called for the release of Khalil, a Green Card-holder who was taken from his home in front of his 8-month pregnant wife by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers who entered his house without a warrant on March 8.
