HYBE Japan’s &TEAM announce first Korean mini-album ‘Back To Life’

HYBE Japan’s global group &TEAM have announced their first-ever Korean language mini-album, ‘Back To Life’ – find out more below.

The nine-piece boyband – who formed in 2022 – are currently celebrating their third anniversary as a group. To celebrate the occasion, &TEAM have announced that they will soon be releasing a new EP, ‘Back To Life’ on October 28.

The mini-album will see the group sing entirely in the Korean language for the first time. The EP will be available for pre-order in several formats and versions – find out more here. Further details including tracklisting and single release dates have yet to be announced.

&TEAM have released two studio albums and two mini-albums to date. The albums ‘First Howling: Now’ and ‘Yukiakari’ were released in November 2023 and December 2024 respectively. As for the EPs, they dropped ‘First Howling: Me’ and ‘First Howling: We’ in December 2022 and June 2023 respectively.

&TEAM are just one of several global groups under the HYBE roster, which also includes KATSEYE. HYBE x Geffen also recently announced the formation of a new group, which includes three former contestants on Popstar Dream Academy: KATSEYE.

HYBE and Geffen are now hosting auditions for the upcoming group’s fourth and final member. This member will be determined through an elimination-based competition, much like Dream Academy.

The competition series, titled World Scout: The Final Piece, will be held in Japan and will begin streaming in early 2026. Audition applications can be submitted here until September 22.
