ICE agents begin Trump-ordered crackdown on illegal immigrants in Chicago

US immigration authorities on Monday began a crackdown in Chicago in a bid to “protect” residents from the “criminal illegal aliens” the Trump administration claims have fled to the city because of its sanctuary laws. Activists say several people, whom they describe as “beloved community members”, were already arrested this weekend while on their way to work.
