South Korea’s impeached President Yoon Suk Yeol remained in prison on Friday despite a court decision to cancel his arrest warrant on the grounds that prosecutors waited too long to indict him. Yoon, who also faces an impeachment trial at the Constitutional Court, will remain behind bars until prosecutors respond to the court’s decision.
