In Colombia, two separate guerilla attacks kill 18

Two attacks by dissident guerrilla groups killed 18 people and injured dozens in Colombia on Thursday. A truck bomb struck Cali, killing six and wounding more than 60, while a drone brought down a police helicopter at a coca farm in the north. The violence deepens Colombia’s worst security crisis in decades and threatens fragile peace efforts ahead of next year’s elections. FRANCE 24′- Juan Pablo Lucumi has more from our offices in Bogota.
