Alix Earle is getting real about her cosmetic procedure regrets.
In the past, the Hot Mess host has been vocal about what type of cosmetic surgeries she’s gotten, and she’s always been upfront about it. She’s chatted about her boob job and her nose job, but the one thing she’s never really talked about is dental surgery… until now.
In an emotional new TikTok video, the 24-year-old showed off a chipped tooth that she filed down to make it more “nonchalant”. As she filed down her tooth, she decided to admit she got veneers “after” she “graduated college” — and she’s warning her followers to NOT follow in her footsteps:
“I never wanted to post about it, because I kind of immediately regretted it, and I never want to influence people to do something I don’t think they should do.”
Thinking back to her childhood, the SipMargs investor said she always had “really good” teeth that she liked — even after having to use Invisalign to correct them after a gnarly bike crash. She really had no complaints, other than the composite bonding she got on her lateral incisors that would constantly “crack off” leaving her smile a little crooked.
Initially, after getting some dough from social media, she decided to get JUST two veneers — only on her incisors to even out that imperfection! But after she chatted with the doc, he convinced her to get six of her top teeth done along with four of her bottom teeth:
“I don’t know why I listened to that because originally that’s not what I wanted. So I went in for two teeth and I basically left with 10.”

Alix admitted she gets “emotional” when talking about it, and even started to tear up in the video:
“When am I not crying? I really regretted it right away and I think it was really scary for me and I was like, ‘What did I just do?’”
So sad. And this is coming from Alix, who says she doesn’t regret much! But she just hates that decision she made:
“End of the day, whatever, it was my decision but I feel like it was kind of those decisions that was made pretty fast and I just didn’t think it all the way through or talk to enough people.”
She also responded to the fans who were mad at her for not announcing she had veneers sooner:
“It’s not that I ever tried to hide it. Like, I never said like, ‘Oh I don’t have that.’ I just never came forward and said it because I really, really regretted it and I did not want to influence anyone to do it because I don’t think that you should.”
In fact, the social media star is in full support of people rocking their “natural teeth” instead of veneers:
“I think natural teeth are so beautiful. If you’re thinking of doing anything to your teeth, this is your sign to not do it and to embrace your natural teeth. I think teeth have so much character, so don’t follow my lead on this one.”
Near the end of the video, she showed off her chipped tooth, and actually said she “like[s] it”:
“I think it’s fun.”
