Inside the fight to save the Mediterranean Sea from plastic pollution

The Mediterranean is known as the most polluted sea on Earth, with the equivalent of 34,000 plastic bottles dumped into it every minute. This pollution is devastating for both human and marine life, as half of its species are found nowhere else on the planet. France 24’s Down to Earth team met with volunteers and scientists on the island of Corsica who are fighting against plastic waste.
