A recent European Union report, issued by the EU’s diplomatic service, finds that Israel may be violating its human rights obligations under Article 2 of the EU-Israel Association Agreement. The findings cite Israel’s humanitarian blockade of Gaza, attacks on civilian infrastructure and forced displacement and settler violence in the West Bank. As countries like Spain, Ireland, and the Netherlands are urging tougher action, FRANCE 24’s Eve Irvine welcomes Lynn Boylan, Irish MEP, Chair of the EU Delegation for Relations with Palestine.
