Israel’s top court has set a deadline for the government and attorney general’s office to find a solution to the highly controversial firing of Shin Bet’s head, Ronen Bar. The Internal Security chief was sacked by the Prime Minister, even though Benjamin Netanyahu didn’t have the legal authority to do so. A solution will need to be found in 10 days, during which Bar will continue to perform his duties. Laurent Berstecher reports.
