Jeremy Renner continues to hit back at the disturbing allegations leveled against him!
Over the past week, a filmmaker named Yi Zhou exposed the troubling behavior of the 54-year-old actor on social media and in an interview. She said they collaborated on the documentary Chronicles of Disney, but they did not have a strictly professional relationship. Yi alleged they began a romantic one in June after he introduced himself and pursued her… by sending inappropriate photos and videos, like pornographic material.

However, their relationship was from a fairytale. The 37-year-old claimed she has “lived with fear for [her] safety and deep distress over the treatment [she has] endured” at the hands of Jeremy over the past several months. Among the allegations she made? Yi said she confronted the Marvel star about the previous abuse accusations from his ex, and he threatened to call ICE on her! She wrote:
“When I called him out privately about his past misconduct and asked him to behave properly, to respect me as a woman and as a filmmaker, he threatened to call immigration/ICE on me, an act that deeply shocked and frightened me.”
Just sick…
Speaking to Dailymail.com, Yi also recalled a scary incident at his home on August 20, in which he became “angry” and “violent.” She claimed:
“I was discussing about the doc logistics [of the documentary], then he drank a bottle of wine alone and got angry and angry yelling for two hours. I had to location share to my team, my parents and Disney colleagues in case something happens to me they know where I am. I had to lock myself in a room to be safe praying he would not come into the room at night as he was really angry. I did not say a word, I was so scared for my life.”
How awful. You can read a full breakdown of her allegations HERE. Jeremy denied all of her accusations to Page Six on Friday, saying they “are totally inaccurate and untrue.” And he isn’t done clapping back yet.
According to TMZ on Saturday, the Hawkeye alum’s attorney, Marty Singer, sent a cease and desist letter to Yi. He once again denied the allegations against him, insisting in the letter that it’s all “false, fabricated and salacious lies.” While Yi claimed Jeremy made the first move, he swore that was not the truth. He claimed SHE aggressively started to pursue him and sent NSFW messages.
The Avengers star said he signed on to collaborate with Yi on the documentary. However, during their first meeting in July, he claimed she made a pass at him. Jeremy alleged they then went on to have a “brief consensual encounter” — but that was it. When they met again in August, he allegedly told Yi he was not interested in a sexual relationship and put her in a guest bedroom that night. But after Jeremy drove her to the airport, he claimed she sent him hundreds of explicit texts demanding to be with him and sleep with him. One text allegedly said:
“I want him inside of me so badly so so badly f**k me, babe.”
Jeremy also claimed she sent a message about playing with his “fake giant thing” while she was thinking about “the real giant.”
The Town actor went on to say he never crossed the line with Yi after their first and only consensual encounter. He also accused her of threatening to “harm him publicly” unless he agreed to promote her documentary and “make it falsely appear” they’re a couple. Furthermore, Yi claimed he narrated an AI-generated animated film — but he denies any involvement in such a venture. Now Jeremy is warning Yi that if she doesn’t stop spreading “salacious lies” and exploiting his name, she will face legal action and risk losing millions in liability. Yikes. And here is where it gets even messier…
Yi told TMZ on Saturday that she has also sent Jeremy 3 cease-and-desist letters over the past month. In those letters, she accused Jeremy of sending her messages of “sexual or suggestive nature” and requesting similar content, causing her “discomfort and distress.” She then warned him not to defame her by disseminating false information, to stop sending her explicit texts, and to quit threatening, harassing, and trying to blackmail her, or else she will take legal action. Yi shared a copy of a cease and desist she sent to Jeremy on November 5 on Instagram. Check it out (below):
There’s more. Yi then fired back at his claim that their first sexual encounter together was consensual. According to the filmmaker, it allegedly wasn’t. She wrote in a statement:
“The first physical encounter was not consensual; I asked for more time and gentleness, but my boundaries were not respected. Later interactions became consensual, yet the earlier incident remained deeply distressing.”
