JoJo Siwa is addressing a rumor about her relationship with Chris Hughes!
For those who don’t know, fans think the 22-year-old singer has a bun in the oven. Yep, people believe she’s pregnant, and it’s because of a video she posted to TikTok late last month! In it, JoJo flaunted an adorable and delicious snack plate she made for Chris, who loved it and made sure to show it! While the Love Island UK alum hugged her, he affectionately rubbed her stomach, and that sweet moment caused the internet to go into a frenzy, thinking she was already pregnant! Yes, really! Well, JoJo is chronically online like the rest of us and caught wind of the rumor! But rather than outright dismissing them, she decided to have fun! Oh, and get some promo for her new cover song, too!
On Thursday, JoJo posted a video of herself twirling in a chair while lip-syncing to her version of Kim Carnes’ track Bette Davis Eyes. She asked fans to play two truths and a lie, and three statements flashed on the screen:
“1. I’ve never smoked a [cigarette] 2. I’m pregnant 3. This song comes out on Spotify Friday.”

Which one is the lie? Some folks think JoJo does smoke cigarettes after listening to her cover, but we believe (and really, really hope) her first statement is true. We already know her third one IS true because the Dance Moms alum released the cover on Friday despite the negative reactions to her teasers this week! So, the lie must be that she is pregnant! Wow! What a playful way to hit back at the rumors!
