Kevin Jonas is Burnin’ Up… All his Jonas Brothers money!
The three brothers appeared on Lewis Howes‘ The School of Greatness podcast on Tuesday where he made a shocking revelation: after the band broke up, he lost 90 percent of his fortune! Whaaaaat?! Sitting alongside Joe, 35, and Nick, 32, the oldest Joe Bro revealed:
“I’ve seen the beginning of the success to financial success, not really knowing what money was and understanding it, to not having [it], to losing almost all of it seeing bad business deals.”
Losing almost ALL of it?? But how?!

Shocked by the revelation, Howes asked, “Really? You almost lost all your money?” And Kevin responds:
“Yeah, like, most of it. Down to like 10 percent left.”
That’s INSANE!
The 37-year-old revealed this all happened “about nine years ago.” After the band broke up in 2013, he apparently “invested in a bunch of property” which ended up being “sadly not the right partnership, if you know what I’m saying.” The singer cryptically added:
“I can’t really get too much into it, but the sad part of it is I’ve learned a lot of lessons in that. And thankfully for life in general we had a second shot and bite at the apple with the band coming back together.”
As fans will know, the Jonas Brothers announced their comeback in 2019.
Kevin continued:
“It was actually kind of fortuitous in a way — I learned this lesson, I never wanted to learn it but I did, but then at the same time reevaluated how to approach life from that perspective and looking to the future, and at the same time was able to really feel honored that we had a second shot at it.”
Whew! We bet he’s SUPER glad they came back to make more music! Or else he’d probably be living a very different lifestyle right now! According to online reports, Kevin’s net worth is currently estimated at around $40 million. You can hear him talk more about his financial missteps (below):
