They’re fake… and they’re spectacular!
Kylie Jenner finally revealed the exact details and specifications of her incredible boob job earlier this week, and the fallout from that shocker has only just begun!
As we reported a couple days back, the Life of Kylie alum took to the comments section of a TikTok post and dropped the exact size and surgery specifications of the breast augmentation she’s had done. She also name-dropped the surgeon who did the procedure: Garth Fisher.
But now, in response, one doctor is warning the world that what Kylie had done is NOT normal or advisable for most women. And yet it sounds like most women aren’t heeding the message AT ALL!!!

So, Glamour just talked to a doctor — New York City-based plastic surgeon named David Shafer — about the 445 ccs that Kylie had put into her body when it came time for her breast augmentation at the hand of Dr. Fisher.
And, well, according to Dr. Shafer, the size and specifics of Kylie going half under the muscle, as she revealed in that TikTok comment, are NOT right for everyone. Shafer explained:
“When you look at what she had done and then with breast augmentation in general, you have to caution patients a little bit. Just because she had 445 ccs doesn’t mean another person who got 445 ccs would have the same result that she has, because with implants, you need a match to the patient’s anatomy.”
He said it’s best for patients to come into a consultation with some clear goals (and inspirations!) in mind before just popping off on doing whatever Kylie did:
“I like to talk to patients about their goals and expectations. I love to see inspiration pictures. So their inspiration board, bring a picture of Kylie or maybe bring a picture of somebody where they don’t like how it looks.”
Fair! And that’s the thing — Kylie’s body type is NOT the same as everybody else’s body type.
According to Dr. Shafer, the 445 cc implants Kylie got are going to look way, way different in most other women. He explained:
“If you’re somebody with a different body shape or size than Kylie and you put 445 in them, it’s not going to look the same. You’re looking more at the ratio of their chest diameter, their height, the size of the implants, the implant projection height, low, moderate or high to help kind of simulate maybe what Kylie had. But the number size of the implant might actually be different to get the same kind of ratio for the patient.”
She also had a “moderate profile” implant done, FYI.
When it comes to boob jobs, there are three “profile” options — low profile, moderate profile, and high profile. Basically, they indicate how far the boobs stick out from the body and how wide the implants are when they get put in. The moderate one, according to Shafer, is what the majority of women opt for:
“She had a moderate profile, and that’s the most common. You’re going to want to match this to the patient’s body because someone who is shorter and wider, you might want to use a lower-profile implant so that it matches the width of their breast. But if you had a tall, thin person and you put a low-profile wide implant in them, it would be extending into their armpit.”
Oh, and also, the “half under the muscle” reveal Kylie dropped on TikTok is actually totally typical as well! Shafer noted how most women have that done nowadays, lest they come away looking, uhhh, strange:
“Half under the muscle is typical for doing breast augmentation. When you put the implant just under the skin, especially if you have really thin skin, it can look almost like an apple with Saran Wrap on it.”
Uh, that is quite the visual…
Dr. Shafer continued:
“If you just put it under the muscle and left the muscle connections at the bottom, the implant gets pushed up too high because the muscle’s holding it up. So you divide the muscle on the bottom half of the breast just so the implant can relax and settle and have a more natural shape.”
In the end, even though the Kylie Swim mogul’s implants are NOT right for most women, Dr. Shafer did say her transparency about it has been uplifting for all. He noted:
“So many times celebrities have stuff done and then they deny it, and it makes people who have never had anything done feel like there’s something wrong with their body. When they’re open about it, it really helps people feel like it’s okay to search things out. It’s okay to have procedures done when you go to the right people. And naming the doctors is also great because then they can look into that person or somebody with similar qualifications closer to where they live.”
Sounds great, right? Yeah! Totally! However…

According to TMZ, in the not-even-a-week after Kylie named Dr. Fisher as the guy who performed her boob job, his Beverly Hills office has been getting BLOWN UP with phone calls literally off the hook for DAYS!
That outlet reported on Thursday that Dr. Fisher’s office has been getting upwards of 150 calls every single day. In fact, they are getting so many calls from women inquiring about surgeries that they’ve simply stopped counting them at all!
The calls apparently aren’t just for boob jobs, either. Per that outlet, insiders say people are also asking about liposuction, tummy tucks, and other procedures. But it’s all because of Kylie, they note! In fact, most of the callers have apparently been mentioning Kylie specifically as their inspo for reaching out.
Wow…
Guess that’s the Kylie Effect in action once more.
In the end, the calls have become so incessant that Dr. Fisher has been forced to change the way he handles appointments. Now, people who are looking for a consultation on a boob job or any other cosmetic procedure are required to email in photos to the doc so he can analyze the possibilities… and NOT call the office.
Seems sensible to us!
