Laura Clery — the popular YouTuber and comedian behind the viral Pamela Pupkin/Pumpkin videos and more — has accused her composer ex Stephen Hilton of hacking into her social media profiles and destroying her livelihood! Buckle up, this is a really heated situation…
The content creators were together for over a decade before their divorce in 2023. They share two children, Alfred, 5, and Penelope, 3, and have continued to co-parent, but unfortunately, things have boiled over into tumultuous territory.

The Allegations
On Monday, the Idiot author claimed in a TikTok video that her ex hacked her Facebook and YouTube accounts and deleted her profiles and a TON of content. She told listeners:
“My YouTube and Facebook account have been hacked by my ex. Literally my Facebook page with 14 million followers that I worked so hard on for over a decade has been deleted. This was actually the main way that I supported our children, and he took that. He has also deleted my videos one by one on YouTube for the last 4 and a half years — my work for the last 4 and a half years. He has deleted every single video and then left the ones that he was in 4 and a half years ago out until 9 years ago. Those are still there.”
As for why he’d allegedly do this, she argued:
“I believe because I posted that I went to a wedding and that I may believe in love again and I seemed happy and I looked happy. I believe that is why he did what he did.”
Damn. That’s awful. She also claimed he posted things as her:
“He also posted some pretty horrible things as me last night that I was notified by a lot of you guys, I think it was in the middle of the night, on Facebook, but then he since deleted it.”
According to screenshots shared by fans (which Laura reposted), Stephen had reshared several photos of said Facebook posts from her account (the ones that whoever hacked her account wrote). But did he give something away when he did? That’s what some social media users believe. They point out that whoever took the photos he shared might have been signed into Laura’s account because prompts to write “what’s on your mind?” and “create a story” with HER profile photo icon were visible.
In one of the alleged posts, whoever the hacker was wrote under Laura’s name:
“I want to make sure my children never see their scum of the earth dad again , yes stephen constsnatly [sic] pulls the autism card but to imagine he and Alfie have telepathic communication proves how nuts he truly is. Just leave him alone . You won’t win beliveallwomen [sic]”
Another alleged caption read in part:
“addicts should die and I hope my ex never gets to see these beautiful kids again as long as he lasts”
Terrible. And again, these posts were NOT written by Laura — they were written by whoever hacked into her account. See:
In her TikTok, she noted she’s not sure how he would even allegedly hack her accounts considering she changed her passwords after they split.
“I just wanna let you guys know that it’s not me, that, you know, he is trying to break me and destroy me, and it’s really sad because I’m the mother of his children and all I wanted was for him to get clean and off drugs and be a safe space for his kids. I’ve never uttered a bad word about him to our kids, I never would. And I just wanted him to get clean and sober and safe. That’s all I asked. That’s all I ever asked. I still feel in shock and sad and disturbed.”
She pointed out she already has a restraining order against him and would be taking legal action, concluding:
“I already have a restraining order, I believe this is a violation so I will be reporting it. He just cannot break me. He will try, but he cannot break me. It’s just really sad but he’s sick in the head and I’m praying for him and still wishing him love and that he can heal from whatever this is.”

In a follow-up post, the mom uploaded a video of a police officer going through documentation in her home. She captioned it, “Justice will be [sic] prevail.” She added:
“He hacked my accounts. Violated the order. Deleted years of work. Took the food from our kids mouths. Justice is coming.”

Restraining OrdeR
Back in May, Stephen revealed Laura got a restraining order against him, and he started ranting online about how he felt she was taking their kids away from him. He denied ever being violent or threatening and insisted there was “no cause” for the legal action. Meanwhile, Laura has been posting videos about living in fear for herself and her children’s safety ever since. See (below):

The month prior, Laura ended her podcast Idiot, which was meant to follow their co-parenting relationship. They discussed addiction in the final episode, in which she expressed frustration and confusion with his inability to stay sober so he could see his kids physically. She told fans she was pausing the podcast because it was too difficult to record through Stephen’s struggles. Listen:

I wasn’t trying to be funny. I saw it as a way for two content creators who happen to be divorced and raising two kids just a mile apart—to show what co-parenting can look like. I imagined it might help the 56% of other divorced parents out there feel less alone, maybe spark some real conversations about what works, what doesn’t, and how to show up for your kids even after a breakup. But this isn’t that. This has become something I never wanted it to be. We’re navigating someone in their addiction. I feel anxious. I get a pit in my stomach every time we sit down to film. It doesn’t feel good. It doesn’t feel right. And I don’t want to put more darkness into the world. This episode was filmed a week or two ago. And now, I’m done. This dynamic has clearly been really tense for a while, and now it has reached an unfortunate breaking point.
Stephen’s Response
Stephen has vehemently hit back at these allegations. In a statement on his Instagram Story on Tuesday, he wrote:
“I’ve always been straightforward about times ive been using, & I being a narcissist. Ive even gone further than that on occassion. Im not ashamed of it either. Im born like it and there’s no treatment anyway, so how about you stop saying that tired old line. I’ve shown it all on camera. Why would it be upsetting to me. I didn’t delete any account–it should be listed very clearly on Facebook who deleted it. Who sent us both ‘the middle of the night pics?’ why do the POLICE not believe this story & where is the evidence. I’m done talking about it now. If you’re genuinely curious — answer those questions.”
He went on:
“I’m changed by having my kids taken for frivalous [sic] reasons — Im not ‘nice’ anymore with anyone accept [sic] my kids. this s**t is mental & clearly comes from someone with access to her acc. HOW could I get in ? Just guessed the PW? Right …”
He continued in another slide:
“You also didn’t believe the kids were with me overnight the day before the papers were served: then i showed you irrefutable evidence: most the bots said that was made up. I don’t care what you think. I treat this whole fame thing with utter contempt and disrespect it deserves. I (genuinely) DGAF. I have my people and this has brought us closer. The Needed continues to grow apace. They’re all I care about. I don’t work for free anymore like these dancing monkeys”
He also uploaded a video directly hitting back:
“I just saw the video. First of all, as she stated in the video, she changed the password, I couldn’t have gotten into the account. That would be egotistical to think that I’m looking at your Story and looking at everything — I blocked you everywhere, I can’t see any Story. If you were getting stuff in the middle of the night, maybe that’s the same stuff I was getting sent in the middle of the night. Because I think that’s slander to say that I did that, and I don’t know if you’re trying to goad me into responding or if you’re trying to get me to step over the restraining order so you can take my kids forever. I don’t know what the plan is here, but I’m feeling very manipulated by this whole situation. If there was evidence, presumably, there’d be police at my door.”
He included more allegations about Laura in the caption of another IG post, in which he called his ex a “pathological liar,” adding:
“What ‘scared person’ FILMS making a false police report? Someone who’s very comfortable doing it (10+ times – once b/c I was ‘on my phone’ when she was ‘sick’) . Who JOKES about this with kids in the house? A pathological liar. By now she knows who deleted’ her account and what were the police findings ? All you saying im going to jail . I would be if I’d done any of this . THINK .dont follow the bots , think for yourself”
