LeAnn Rimes had quite the onstage misadventure over the weekend!
The country music star took to her Instagram on Saturday to share with her followers a story she called “the most epic example of how the show must go on.”
The Coyote Ugly star was singing at the Skagit Valley Casino & Resort in Bow, Washington on Friday when she experienced an actual nightmare — but all too real. Her teeth fell out!

WTF?! The 42-year-old explained in a video for fans:
“So last night, I was on stage in the middle of One Way Ticket. I feel something pop in my mouth. And if you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song last night.”
The bridge just popped out?! OMG! How embarrassing! But… you’re onstage, what do you do? Well, LeAnn grabbed the teeth, hollered “Hold on!”, ran offstage, and put ’em back in! She then got transparent about what happened to her audience. We mean, what else can you do, right?
“I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage. And so, for the rest of the show, I was literally like this pushing my teeth in like every couple lines and singing.”
Oh no! What a mess! She added:
“And you know, like I said, there wasn’t a thing I could do about it except either walk off or just hold my teeth in. So, I just ran with it.”
The How Do I Live singer took all this in stride, joking:
“I don’t usually have firsts in my career. That was a first and hopefully a last. I hope my teeth stay in tonight. We shall see. The front row, get ready for something to fly out. If you catch them please return them.”
Ultimately, she decided to share her story to inspire other artists — she wants everyone to know “that the show can go on in the midst of sheer, utter embarrassment.”
We appreciate LeAnn’s courage and candor here. And she’s exactly right, of course. Sometimes you just have to grin and bear it. Even if you can’t exactly grin. See her full video tale (below)!
