Haim have shared a new song titled ‘Tie You Down’, and it features Bon Iver – check it out below.
‘Tie You Down’ serves as a preview of Haim’s upcoming deluxe edition of their latest album, ‘I Quit’. The deluxe album is due for release on October 17 via Polydor Records – you can pre-order or pre-save your copy here.
The newly unveiled Bon Iver collaboration is a tender and reflective arrangement. “Put your little heart in me now / Ain’t this how it’s supposed to be? / I want you here / But I don’t know how / Not to tie you down,” they sing in unison on the chorus.
‘Tie You Down’ sees Danielle Haim and Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon reunite after the latter roped in Danielle to feature on his own ‘SABLE fABLE’ track ‘If Only I Could Wait’ earlier this year.
The deluxe edition of Haim’s ‘I Quit’ will feature three new tracks, including ‘Tie You Down’. The other two bonus tracks are titled ‘The Story Of Us’ and ‘Even The Bad Times’. Check out the official tracklist for ‘I Quit (Deluxe Edition)’ below.

In a four-star review of ‘I Quit’, NME wrote that the record “is set at a crossroads in the grieving process, when lessons have already been learned, but the pain of memories still linger.
“But this is still a Haim album, and their songs never linger on despair, are never far from the warmth of their sisterhood. They’re no longer the pop group you once knew, but this record is proof that sometimes, you really do need to let go in order to grow.”
