Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the theft of crown jewels from Paris’ Louvre Museum, the Paris prosecutor said on Sunday, a week after the heist at the world’s most visited museum that stunned the world. Citing local media, FRANCE 24’s Ellen Gainsford reported that the arrests took place in Saint-Denis, a northern suburb of Paris, and that one of the men was attempting to travel to Algeria from Charles de Gaulle Airport.
