The Louvre Museum has reopened for the first time since the jewel heist on October 19, 2025, as the investigation continues. According to the museum curator, the loss is estimated to 88 million euros, although this doesn’t take into account the historical value of the stolen jewels. The president of the Louvre was questioned by lawmakers about the state of security at the museum. FRANCE 24’s Delano D’Souza tells us more about the situation from the Louvre museum in Paris.
