French President Emmanuel Macron has called for tougher action against drug trafficking on Tuesday after the 20-year-old brother of anti-drug activist Amine Kessaci, Mehdi Kessaci, was shot dead in Marseille last week, in what authorities say was an intimidation killing linked to local gangs.
