Macron visits Gaza aid outpost in Egypt as Israel maintains humanitarian blockade

France’s President Emmanuel Macron on Thursday met with sick Palestinians, medical professionals and aid workers in Egypt’s port city of El-Arish, close to the Gzaz Strip, in a bid to push Israel to lift restrictions on humanitarian aid entering the Palestinian enclave.
