The 45th Southern African Development Community (SADC) Summit wrapped up on Monday in Madagascar. The event marked a major political milestone for President Andry Rajoelina, who officially assumed the organization’s rotating chairmanship for the next year — his first regional leadership role. Rajoelina also used the occasion to showcase two flagship infrastructure projects of three SADC heads of state. Details by Gaëlle Borgia, FRANCE 24 correspondent in Madagascar.
