Madagascar’s Rajoelina assumes rotating leadership of SADC

The 45th Southern African Development Community (SADC) Summit wrapped up on Monday in Madagascar. The event marked a major political milestone for President Andry Rajoelina, who officially assumed the organization’s rotating chairmanship for the next year — his first regional leadership role.
